	Web-based resources for high school students (http://www.aaps.k12.mi.us/ins.forstudents/high_school) These resources are very helpful. Ask the media center staff and/or teachers for the passwords. You can also access them from home! Includes Grolier enyclopedias and a very cool Unitedstreaming multimedia database, which offers full-length films, audio, and more. Learn something new today!
	Michigan e-Library databases (http://www.mel.org/SPT--BrowseResourcesDatabases.php?ParentId=617) Try these excellent databases from the Library of Michigan. For home access, you will need your (or your parent/guardian's) valid Michigan Driver License or State I.D..
	ProQuest K-12 databases (http://www.proquestk12.com/access/custom/aaps.shtml) Try these great databases from ProQuest. Ask the library staff for the passwords. These are really useful for doing research online!

	Internet Public Library - Home (http://www.ipl.org/) The IPL is a terrific resource for getting information about all sorts of subjects.
	Internet Public Library TeenSpace (http://www.ipl.org/div/teen/) This site at the IPL was developed especially for teens.
	Internet Public Library A+ Research & Writing (http://www.ipl.org/div/teen/aplus/) This is a great resource for helpful tips on how to both research and write school papers.
	Discovery Education Streaming (http://streaming.discoveryeducation.com/index.cfm) This website is an online database of videos and images about a variety of subjects. Ask the media center staff and/or teachers for the passwords.
	TeachingBooks.Net (http://www.teachingbooks.net/) If you want information about authors, book guides, or anything else to do with books, this is the site for you. The book guides and links to author websites are extremely useful.

	Son of Citation Machine (http://citationmachine.net/index.php?new_style=x&reset=1#here) This site is great for getting bibliographies done quickly. Choose from among MLA, APA, or Chicago style citation formats.
	U.S. Minority Perspectives Get a list of citations for books on different minority and cultural perspectives of American History.
