Dear CHS Families:

Students are off and running and the school year is underway! I want to take this opportunity to make sure that you have the information you need to help your student be successful. 

• Please remember if your student is late to school, needs to leave early, or will be absent from school, a parent or guardian needs to call the attendance office. Please call both CHS and your home school if you are split enrolled and absent. The phone number for calling in an absence at CHS is 994-2025.

• Capsule Night will be held Wednesday, September 23rd from 7:00pm-9:15pm. Follow your student’s schedule and listen to a brief  presentation from your student’s teachers.

• Fall Forum Day will be held on Friday, September 25th. This full day event is a must for full time CHS students. Students who split-enroll into CHS will need to make alternative arrangements for the day.

• Picture retake day for full-time CHS students will be October 23, 2009; the first round of pictures was taken September 11th.  Picture order forms are available in the Main Office. Pictures can be ordered on line – make sure to look for the code at the top of the order form.

• Please remember to send in your updated contact information to the office.

• Each year students must reapply for free and reduced breakfast and lunch. Application forms are available in the Main Office.
